Apply an electronic or digital signature

For 21 CRF Part 11 compliance, you can electronically or digitally sign an audit trail to show a protocol has been reviewed and approved for use, for example. LHC helps you comply with your organization's version control or audit trail verification procedures by enabling electronic signature of a system or protocol audit trail.

To apply your signature:

1. Select System>Sign and select the type of audit trail you want to sign.
2. Use the drop-down list to select a Reason for signing.
3. Fill the comment box with required information.
4. Click the appropriate "sign" button on the bottom of the window. Enter your user name and password to sign as a different user.

Select System>Audit Trail and then select the type of audit trail you signed to view your signature.
